We are proud to have successfully delivered the Ames Taping & Decoration package at Fife College on behalf of Balfour Beatty, with a contract value of approximately £1.4 million.
As part of this major education development, our team was responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of Ames taping and decoration works, working closely with the principal contractor and wider project team to ensure the highest standards of finish, quality and workmanship were maintained throughout.
The project required careful planning, coordination and delivery across a large and complex construction environment. Our experienced workforce worked collaboratively with other trades and project stakeholders to maintain programme requirements while delivering a consistent, high-quality finish across the development.
Our scope of works included the installation and finishing of internal wall and ceiling systems, Ames taping and associated decoration works, with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail and meeting the project’s demanding specifications.
The successful completion of the Fife College project demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale commercial and educational projects, managing substantial work packages while maintaining the high standards expected by leading principal contractors such as Balfour Beatty.

Our team was appointed by Robertson Construction to undertake the Ames Taping & Decoration works at Perth High School, delivering a package valued at approximately £700,000.
The project presented an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major education facility, with our team responsible for achieving high-quality internal finishes across the development. From the initial stages through to completion, we worked alongside Robertson Construction and the wider project team to ensure our works were delivered efficiently and to the required standards.
With a project of this scale, coordination between trades and careful management of the works were essential. Our experienced operatives worked across the site to deliver a consistent finish, paying close attention to detail throughout the Ames taping and decoration process.
Quality was a key priority throughout the project. We understand that the final finish plays an important role in the overall appearance and longevity of a building, particularly within a high-use educational environment. Our team therefore maintained a strong focus on workmanship, preparation and attention to detail at every stage.

We recently completed an Ames Taping & Decoration package at Mercury House in Bellshill for HFD Construction, successfully delivering just over £100,000 worth of works within an eight-week programme.
Despite the tight programme, our team worked efficiently alongside HFD Construction and the wider project team to ensure the works progressed smoothly and remained on schedule. Careful planning, coordination and a strong focus on productivity allowed us to complete the package within the required timeframe without compromising on the quality of the finished product.
Our scope of works covered the Ames taping and decoration of the development, with our experienced workforce delivering high-quality internal finishes throughout the project. Particular attention was given to preparation, consistency and detail to ensure the completed works met the standards expected by our client.
The project is a strong example of our ability to mobilise quickly, manage demanding programmes and deliver sizeable specialist finishing packages within short timescales.
